Whether it’s your mother, grandmother, mother-in-law or fairy godmother, you need a maternal figure in the room. A motherly figure carries love and warmth in her heart just for you. She’s someone who’s going to calm your fears and put you at ease. That being said, let her wedding dress wisdom spill all over you and then embrace it. 

Your Maid of Honour 

They're your best friend. More importantly, they’re your partner-in-crime. They know you inside and out and can read you like a book. Why wouldn’t they be in the room? Not only will they tell you what you need to hear, but they’ll also probably give you a good reason too. Trust them. You made them your maid of honour for a reason.

A Tie Breaker 

Three’s usually a crowd but not in this case. If you can’t choose between two dresses and you make others decide for you, you’ll need a third party to break the tie. This person should be a trusted confidante who knows your style. It can be someone from your wedding party, a family member or even someone from your fiancé’s family. Just make sure they have your best interest at heart.
